Vienna, VA | October, 2026 — Aretum today announced the appointment ofPeter Santighian as Chief Executive Officer to lead the company’s next phase of growth. A mission-driven government services company delivering technology and mission support to federal agencies, Aretum serves defense, intelligence, health, and civilian customers. Santighian will focus on advancing company strategy, strengthening customer engagement, and delivering new mission-focused solutions. Former CEO Rohit Gupta will become part of Aretum’s Board of Directors, providing continued guidance on long-term strategy and supporting a smooth leadership transition.
Santighian has more than 25 years of experience in the federal market. His work covers corporate strategy, business growth, operations, technology delivery, and mission support. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of Defense, Intelligence, and Health at Everforth ECS. There, he led the executives and program teams in charge of strategy, growth, and solution delivery for Department of Defense customers. That work included cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise transformation, AI/ML, and acquisition management.
Previously, Santighian was Chief Strategy Officer at Halvik Corp. He was responsible for customer delivery, company strategy, business growth, and strategic investments. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Stanley Associates, CGI, Edgesource, and ECS Federal. These roles gave him broad experience leading and growing organizations across the federal market.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University. He has served on the boards of small and mid-sized companies. He has also spoken at industry conferences about government acquisition. In his community, he co-chairs the annual Childhelp Shining Stars Gala and supports Shriners Hospitals for Children and other charities.
