Vienna, VA – April 2026 – Aretum, a leading provider of technology-enabled mission support services to federal agencies, today announced the appointment of Jason McGill as Director of Business Development for its Federal Civilian portfolio.
In this role, McGill will lead Aretum’s growth strategy across civilian agencies, expanding partnerships and delivering innovative, mission-focused solutions that help government organizations modernize and improve service delivery.
McGill brings more than 20 years of experience supporting public sector transformation. He began his career at Dell/EMC, where he worked with state and local governments to address complex data storage challenges. He later served in an executive federal role at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where he led the development of a shared services platform for grants and financial management that has become a government standard.
During his tenure at HHS, McGill supported several high-profile initiatives, including the BP Oil Disaster Recovery Fund for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Healthcare Innovation Awards, and The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Regional Data Analysis program.
In addition to his federal leadership experience, McGill has held senior roles at leading systems integrators, partnering with clients across public and global health, transportation, housing, and education sectors to deliver measurable mission outcomes.
“Jason’s deep understanding of the federal civilian landscape and his proven ability to translate strategy into mission impact make him a tremendous addition to our team,” said Sean DuGuay, Chief Growth Officer at Aretum. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence and deliver meaningful results for our customers.”
McGill’s experience spans nearly every facet of civilian agencies, and he is known for his practical, outcomes-first approach. He combines innovative strategy with data-driven analysis to solve complex government challenges.
